Written by Vanessa Varan

The Memos tab allows you to create and manage internal notes against a customer record. Memos can be used to record customer interactions, store additional information, and keep important notes alongside the customer's account. You can also attach supporting files to a memo where required.

View Customer Memos

  1. Click the Direct Debits tab on the left-hand side.

  2. Locate the relevant customer from the Customers/Contracts table.

  3. Click the customer's record to view their details and select the Memos tab.

Any existing memos recorded against the customer will be displayed, including the date and time created, the associated bank reference, the user who created the memo, and the memo content.

Add a Memo

  1. Click Add Memo.

  2. Select a Bank Reference if the memo relates to a specific contract.

  3. Enter the note in the Memo Body field.

  4. Attach any supporting files if required and click Save.

📌Note: The Memo Body field is required and supports up to 4,000 characters.

Manage Memos

Depending on your user permissions, you may be able to:

  • View memos – Open a memo using the eye icon to view its details, including the memo content, date created, and the user who recorded it.

  • Create memos – Add new internal notes and attach supporting files where required.

  • Edit memos – Update the content of an existing memo using the pencil icon.

  • Delete memos – Remove a memo that is no longer required using the bin icon.

📌Note: Memos are for internal use only and are not sent to customers.
