The left and right containers are only displayed on form pages when viewed on larger screens. They are automatically hidden on tablet and mobile devices, as well as on pages such as Review and Confirmation.
Edit side elements on an eDD site
From the Payments homepage, locate your site.
Identify the site you want to edit and click the purple Edit button.
Choose which side you want to update:
Click + Add element to left
Click + Add element to right
Add either a text or image element, then click the grey tick icon to confirm.
Adjust text width
Text elements usually default to a width of 640px, which may appear too wide. To adjust this:
Click Element Layout (icon with three blocks).
Select Root for the relevant element (Left or Right).
A Styles box opens up on the right hand side.
In the Dimensions section, change:
Max Width to 30% (click on px and change to %)
Padding Right to 10px
If you need to change the background colour, select Layout then Background Colour. Add the hex colour into the green box using the format, e.g. #ffffff or using the colour slider.
