Troubleshoot Configurable Represents

Common issues with retry settings and failed payment retries.

Written by Gemma Langley

Use these answers to help resolve common issues when using Configurable Represents.

Why can't I see the Represent action?

The Represent action is only available when a payment is eligible for retry.

If the action is not available, the payment may no longer meet the criteria required for retry processing.

Why can't I save my retry settings?

Retry settings can only be saved when valid values have been entered.

If the settings cannot be saved, check that all required fields have been completed and that the values entered are within the supported limits.

Why can't I select my chosen collection date?

Collection dates are restricted to valid dates within the permitted retry window.

If a date is unavailable, it falls outside the range of dates that can be used for the retry.

Why can't I see View chain or any retry history?

View chain is only available for payments that have been retried.

If no retry has been created, there will be no retry history available to view.

What do Retries Used and Retries Remaining mean?

Retries Used shows how many retry attempts have already been made for the payment. Retries Remaining shows how many retry attempts are still available.

These values help you understand the current position of a payment within its retry cycle.

Why isn't my retry showing in the next Bacs submission?

Retries are included automatically based on the selected collection date.

If the retry is not visible, it may not yet have reached the next processing cycle.
