Cancellation Templates allow you to control the communications sent to customers when a Direct Debit is cancelled. Templates can be configured for both Bacs System Codes and Custom Codes.
From the Cancellation Templates page, you can view existing communication settings, configure email and letter templates, and create your own cancellation codes where required.
Cancellation Types
The Cancellation Templates page displays both Bacs System Codes and Custom Codes, along with the communications associated with them.
Bacs System Codes are standard cancellation reasons defined by Bacs, while Custom Codes are cancellation reasons created by your organisation.
For each cancellation type, you can:
View the code and description
Check the email and letter configuration
Edit the associated communication template
Use the search bar to find a specific code or reason, or use the filters to display:
All cancellation types
Configured cancellation types
Not configured cancellation types
You can select Create Cancellation Code to add a new cancellation type for your organisation.
đNote: When a communication is generated from a Cancellation Template, it is recorded in the customer's Communications tab, providing a complete history of communications sent to the customer.
