Access PaySuite allows you to update the start date of any future schedule version directly within the system. This makes it easy to adjust upcoming schedules when customer details or contract timings change. The update process is quick and includes built‑in validation to prevent any conflicts.

Update a future schedule version

  1. Click the Direct Debits tab on the left hand side.

  2. Select the relevant customer from the Customers/Contracts table.

  3. Click the customer’s record to view their details.

  4. In the Contracts table, click the drop-down arrow for the schedule.

  5. Select the calendar icon.

  6. Click on Edit Schedule.

  7. From the drop-down, select a new date from the calendar and click Next Step.

  8. Choose a payment schedule from the drop-down list.

  9. Select Add Schedule Version.

  10. Review the details in the Existing Future Schedule Versions table.

📌Note: Dates within the Bacs amendments notice period are automatically blocked and can't be selected.

You will now see the Effective From date showing when the change takes effect.

View future payment schedules

Once the contract’s start date has been updated, you can view all upcoming payment schedules directly within the system. The schedule viewer clearly displays the active version first, followed by any future versions showing when the new start date will take effect. This allows you to easily understand how the payment plan will change over time.

To review the payment schedules, follow the steps below:

  1. On the Future Schedule Versions page, click Back to Manage Schedule.

📌Note: This returns you to the Manage Payment Schedule screen.

  2. Under Choose an Action, select View Versions.

    • Active schedules are shown first, along with their effective from dates.

    • Future schedules appear underneath, showing the dates when the start date will change and when the new schedule will take effect.

This view helps you confirm that the updated contract start date is correctly reflected in both current and upcoming schedules.
