When submitting payment files in advance, it is strongly recommended to use the Date Calculator to confirm the correct submission cut-off deadlines.
On the Date Calculator page, enter the New Direct Debit setup notice period and Payment requests notice period relevant to your organisation then select the intended collection date by choosing the appropriate date from the calendar.
The tool will display submission deadlines for both New Direct Debits and Payment requests, helping to identify the correct submission window.
đNote: Collections can only take place on working days and if the selected date falls on a weekend or bank holiday, the Date Calculator will prompt selection of the previous working day. In these cases, the payment will be taken on the next working day, with a submission cutâoff time of 12:00pm on the payment submission deadline day.
